The sensitive redevelopment of the former Boroughmuir High School will create 87 apartments within the existing structure of this imposing building. Mezzanine levels make the most of the double height classrooms whilst the courtyard areas will be opened up to create gardens with bridged access to the upper levels. This allows for flexible access to the new properties, avoiding major alterations to the internal layouts.

A new-build block to the north will create on site affordable housing within a contemporary structure that completes the neighbouring tenement block.
