Recently, our mixed-use development for MacTaggart & Mickel on St John’s Road in Corstorphine received Planning Permission (subject to conclusion of conditions).
This underutilised and neglected site has seen a number of proposals for its replacement within recent years, none of which has materialised as a suitable development for the site.
We are delighted that, following a community consultation and working with the client and the Planning Department, we have devised a scheme that provides both usable retail space to supplant the existing, and new apartments and townhouses which integrate into the prevalent housing uses of the area. In line with potential future demand for city centre sites, all 36 undercroft car parking spaces are to have electric charging points, to encourage electric car ownership on site that has already excellent transport links.
We look forward to working with MacTaggart and Mickel to take the proposals through to construction.
