New Directors

We are delighted to announce the appointment of four new directors of the practice from 1 July 2009: Kenny Fraser, Matthew Ansell, Tim Griffin and Stuart Watters. They have all contributed significantly to the success of the practice in recent years and we are sure they will play a major role in the continuing development of the firm.

At the same time, Brian Lightbody and Roy Milne will be retiring as equity directors of the company. Over the last ten years, they have led the practice through a period of significant change and development which has greatly enhanced the quality of our project work and the reputation of the company. Brian will be continuing as Business Director for some time but will be retiring as Managing Director. Jeremy Scott will be the new Managing Director and Brendan Diamond will take over Roy’s role in the administration of the business as well as retaining his involvement in project work. Jeremy and Brendan are the fourth generation of leadership in the practice which was founded by Michael Laird in 1954.

This marks a new and exciting stage in the development of the practice and is an indication of our confidence in its future.
