£300m Glasgow 'Super Campus' win for MLA

Michael Laird Architects are delighted to announce their involvement in the winning scheme for the Glasgow ‘Super Campus’ project.

After a fiercely fought competition featuring five architect-led design teams, our multidisciplinary team (led by Atkins and also comprising HAA Design, Imagination and Speirs and Major) was selected by New Campus Glasgow Ltd to develop designs for the £300 million integrated campus over two sites for the students and staff of Glasgow’s three city centre colleges – Central College Glasgow, Glasgow Metropolitan College and the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies.

A masterplan is currently under development with building work likely to begin in early 2012 and completion scheduled for the start of the Commonwealth Games in summer 2014.
