I have 11 years' experience as an architect and interior designer in a wide range of sectors - residential, leisure, healthcare and commercial interior. I joined MLA in March 2016 as a Senior architect / Interior designer. Over the years I have developed a keen interest in interior design and specialised in office interiors. Since joining MLA I have been involved in projects for major financial companies in various design stages spanning from feasibility to site delivery. As project architect I have been responsible for interior design, project management, architecture and detail design.
I believe design has a great impact on people’s happiness and wellbeing and I’m committed to inspire and motivate with the outcome of my work.

I joined MLA in February 2016, after having previously collaborated with number of practices in Skopje and London. During my time here I have been involved in many notable projects, working on detail design and delivery of construction information.
I obtained my qualifications from the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje where at the Students' Biennale I was awarded two Grands Prix prizes, for the best project and the best degree thesis.

I graduated from Dundee School of Architecture with a Master of Architecture in 2014 and joined MLA in early 2017. Previous to that, I worked as a designer on a 3-month design and construction school project in rural Zambia, following working on various high-profile residential and mixed-use projects in Glasgow. In between my University degrees, I worked at international practices in both Japan and Australia.
Since joining MLA I have been working on several projects throughout Edinburgh and Scotland, assisting with everything from the preliminary design stages of projects to the production of detailed design information.

I joined MLA in 2014 and initially I assisted on a broad range of projects within the office, assisting where and when I was required. Over the past year I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge from colleagues. This has enabled me to take on more responsibility and have a greater contribution to various projects.

I joined the team in 2016 after moving North of the border. I obtained my Masters in Architecture with distinction at the University of Sheffield having previously worked at a small London studio on private residential projects and interactive installations. I have worked at an international practice on Schools, Healthcare and Transport projects while tutoring undergraduate and Masters students at the Sheffield Institute of Arts.
My main interests are in the redemptive potential of democratised technology on urban design, society and the environment - and on how architecture can address overpopulation and cultural identity. My primary skills are in Revit, Visualisation and model-making which I am continuing to develop at MLA.

I have extensive experience in leading and managing design teams on large and complex projects.

I obtained my Masters in Architecture at the University of Sevilla after having worked in a small studio on both masterplanning and urban design and on housing and school projects with a focus on regeneration and conservation.
I joined the team last February after having spent a year working in Edinburgh for the retail sector involving branding and refurbishments programmes throughout the UK. During my time at MLA I have been involved on the production of drawings for feasibility and planning stages.

I joined MLA in February 2016. I graduated from SEK University as a Quantity Surveyor in 2001 and obtained my Masters in Architecture at IE University in 2011.
Since joining MLA I have been involved in a variety of Architecture and Interior projects in preliminary design stages and the production of detailed information.
I joined the team in June 2016. I graduated from Dundee University in 2015. After graduation I went to work for Perkins + Will in London. During this time I worked for the health care team on a hospital project in the middle east. I also had a chance to work on corporate interiors projects based within the UK. These all involved pre-design conceptual development, visualisation, 3D modelling, and delivering presentation documents.

I graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2012 and previously worked in a practice working on interior fit out projects and projects in the education sector. Since joining MLA in 2015 my roles have included assisting with detail design and producing construction information as well as expanding my knowledge of Revit.
I am responsible for providing technical support to our designers, managing statutory approvals and liaison with Planning and Building Control authorities and other agencies and managing regulation compliance for the practice’s major projects. I have been with MLA since 1975 and was appointed as Technical Associate in 2006. I have considerable knowledge of all aspects of the regulatory processes that apply to design and construction projects. I am a member of the Association for Project Safety and also a registered CDM Co-ordinator (RMaPS).

I joined MLA in 2005 and have been working on ongoing framework projects with RBS as well as key projects for Standard Life, Agilent Technologies, Scottish Enterprise and AEGON, with a focus on office fit out and refurbishment.
I have been responsible for the management of many office fit outs and have considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of the design process from inception, feasibility, scheme design to on site construction.

I have been with MLA for over a decade, having joined shortly after graduating from Gray’s School of Art. Liam and I make up the MLA Graphics Team, a one stop shop for any requirement regarding the production of documents, presentations, diagrams plus the odd Christmas Card. We pull together most of the submissions for new jobs, so are up to speed on most goings on within the office which keeps things interesting and challenging… There’s not many projects I haven’t touched on at some point and, as a result, I’ve become pretty good at remembering project codes!

I joined the team in 2015, with 2 years experience in the industry. I graduated from Dundee University in 2013 and went to work for an advertising company in London, and most recently have been in Edinburgh working for BDG architecture + design producing concept visuals, presentation documents and tender & construction packages for office fit outs.
Since joining MLA I have been involved in major fit-out projects, guiding projects from inception to completion. I have over 30 years experience working in interiors and specifically workplace across most business sectors. I joined MLA in 2015, as a Director in the Glasgow office, after working for a number of other practices, most notably BDG architecture + design, haa design and DEGW. While at DEGW I was introduced to Workplace and Building consultancy in which I developed a keen interest and specialism. I believe that buildings and interiors should be designed around people, and as designers we should engage with a variety of people throughout the design process. This way we will achieve beautiful and meaningful buildings which delight, inspire and endure.

I have been responsible for the design and delivery of many award winning schemes including Edinburgh Quay mixed-use development on the canal basin at Fountainbridge, Edinburgh. I have particular expertise in masterplanning, community engagement, mixed use urban regeneration, commercial and residential projects with a keen understanding of not only the importance of design but also the commercial requirements of all projects. As a result I have become the designer of choice for many of Scotland’s leading developers.

I joined the practice in 2015, and have focused on luxury residential projects and masterplanning schemes in the Edinburgh area. I have been responsible for preparing sensitive site information and drawings for residential schemes on the edge of the World Heritage Site. He also delivers concepts and solutions for a wide range of sites across Scotland, including the renovation of listed buildings.

I joined the practice in 2010 with 4 years of commercial experience within the leisure industry. During my time here I have adopted a lead role in major fit-out projects, guiding projects from inception to completion and responsible for all aspects of interior design. This includes understanding the client’s needs through to the detailed design of all interior features and fixtures.

I initially joined MLA in January 2014 as an Administration & Finance Assistant and, now as Office Manager, I’m responsible for the front office and administration functions for the practice. I also work alongside our Finance Manager providing finance support.
For me no two days are the same - from dealing with suppliers, looking after facilities, end of month reporting and data analysis to travel management and events. I love the variety my role offers. I also have an active role within the Environmental Committee compiling monthly and annual reports, ensuring accreditations are upheld at the annual audit.

During my time at MLA, I have gained considerable experience in the design and delivery of various building types from commercial refurbishments and residential developments to large scale education projects.
In the past few years, I have been based in Glasgow working as part of a joint team with Reiach and Hall Architects, delivering the City of Glasgow Colleges project consisting of both its’, Riverside and City campuses. In 2010 I graduated from the Waikato Institute of Technology in Hamilton, New Zealand. After a few years of work experience in Australia and New Zealand, I moved to Edinburgh in January of 2016. I also picked up a Graduate Diploma in Screen and Media from the University of Waikato along the way!
I joined MLA in April of 2017 and make up one half of the Graphics team along side Ed. I've worked on a variety of projects during my time here, one of the highlights so far was filming the MLA100K!

I joined the MLA Glasgow office in summer 2015 after working on the City of Glasgow College - Riverside Campus project for Reiach and Hall Architects. I have also previously worked in Glasgow for JM Architects and Sheppard Robson, and have experience of leading projects from inception through to completion within a project architect role. Having worked on various project types of differing scales and complexities, I have learnt to enjoy the challenges that working within the industry can often bring.
I believe that great architecture and design can make a fundamental difference to the way people use and enjoy spaces, and that collaboration with clients, as well as other consultants and disciplines is vital in achieving this.
